M&M Salvage is a family business that began back in the 60’s. We started out by owning and/or developing several different marinas around the southern end of Lake Winnipesaukee. At Weirs Boat & Bait Service (now AKWA Soleil) we ran a fleet of rental boats, rented slips and did some service work.

We purchased Bryant Marine (now Thurston’s Marina) in 1967. Here we sold and serviced Sea Ray boats and Johnson motors. We sold this property to the Thurston family July 4 th, 1972. In 1971 we purchased Goodhue Boat Yard (now Glendale Marine) in Gilford, which we ran until 1979. We also built Glendale Yacht Club in the early 70’s, which turned out to be one of the first yacht clubs to go condo.

As we sold off these various Marina’s, we would ship all of the used parts we had accumulated up to our 20,000 square foot warehouse here in Meredith. These parts mostly sat on the shelves until the mid 80’s when many of the parts fell out of production or became obsolete.

Word got out that we had tons of used parts that were hard to find and M&M Marine Salvage became a thriving business. Through out the years, we would purchase boats from the local boat dealers and boat owners, strip the boats and sell the good used parts to people looking to save money or looking to restore those older boats where parts were not available.

With the emergence of the internet and especially eBay, sales have grown steadily over the years. We now sell many parts and some quality used boats under the eBay name of MMMarineSalvage. We ship all over the world as a result of these sales.

M&M Salvage buys 150-200 boats every year, so there is always a fresh supply of good engines, outdrives, steering systems, seats and miscellaneous hardware. All of our product comes from the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. We do not sell any boat parts that come from boats used mainly in salt water.

All of our parts sell for 50% of retail. We go through our engines and outdrives before selling them, making sure they are in good mechanical shape. All of our accessory parts are checked over and tested before being sold.

If you need a part give us a call and we will let you know if we have it in stock.
