Warranty Policy

Every mechanical part we sell is backed by our standard 60-day warranty. Here’s exactly what’s covered, how returns work, and what to do if you have a problem.

Defects Replaced

Defective parts replaced within 60 days

  1. If within 60 days a mechanical part proves to be defective, Seller will, within a reasonable period of time, replace the part.
  2. Seller is not responsible or liable for any incidental or consequential loss or damage.
  3. No warranty or reimbursement on labor unless management approved in writing.
  4. No cash refunds over $50.00.
  5. No warranty on seals, gaskets, fluids, or coolant.
  6. If a mechanical part is defective and a replacement is not obtainable, any refund will be made by company check.
  7. All sheet metal, glass, and body parts are sold as is.
  8. Non-rebuildable or incomplete cores are not acceptable for credit. Must be exact part match.
  9. Damaged or altered parts are not warranted.
  10. Keep your receipt. No claim or warranty will be made without it.
  11. Overheating voids all warranties. All engines and transmissions have heat tabs installed. If the center of the tab is melted, it will void warranties.
  12. The Seller is not responsible for Buyer’s error.
  13. If you have a problem, contact M&M Auto Salvage prior to removing or attempting any repair to the part.
  14. M&M Auto Salvage makes no claim to the suitability of any particular purpose. Buyer is responsible for determining the suitability of parts purchased for purposes intended.
  15. A deposit is required to remove any part still on the vehicle.
  16. All deposits are non-refundable unless the part is no longer available or damaged.
  1. Special orders are non-refundable.
  2. A minimum deposit of 50% is required on all special orders.
  3. All deposits are non-refundable.
  4. Parts and deposits left over 20 days shall be forfeited.
  5. Seller is not responsible for delays in ground or freight shipments. It is beyond Seller’s control.
  6. All conditions listed under Terms of Sale apply unless otherwise noted on invoice.
  1. Used engines are guaranteed not to have a cracked block, head, or bad crankshaft. Parts external to the cylinder block and cylinder heads (i.e. throttle body, distributor, coilpack, etc.) are not warranted. These are left on the engine for the installer’s convenience only.
  2. All conditions listed under Terms of Sale apply.
  3. Used engines are guaranteed against rod knock, excessive smoking, and excessive oil consumption for 30 days from the invoice date.
  4. Buyer must replace rear main seal and inspect gaskets prior to installation.
  5. Engine must be filled with the manufacturer’s recommended fluids/oil.
  6. All parts provided with the engine purchased must be returned with the core engine for core credit. Core credits will not be given after 30 days from the date of purchase and require the original invoice and core tag.

  1. Improper detent, adjustment, low fluid level, failure to install a new filter, failure to properly flush the transmission cooler, a broken front pump, or improper installation voids all warranties.
  2. All conditions listed under Terms of Sale apply.
  3. Front seal must be replaced prior to installation.
  4. Transmission must be filled with the manufacturer’s recommended fluids/oil.
  5. All transmissions come with a 60-day warranty from date of purchase.
  6. Core credits will not be given after 30 days from the date of purchase and require the original invoice and core tag.
